Eater LA reported last week that Umami Burger will be extending their franchise to include a new restaurant at our beloved Grove. Their new location will be at the former Wonderland Bakery space just across from the Whisper Lounge, with intentions to open this fall. The space will have 175 seats and of course one to be filled by me. If you have never been the original umami buger is a must, the double fried smushed potatoes and the truffle ricotta salad make an excellent companion to LA’s most unique burger joint.
