Ben Ford has a famous name and father(Harrison Ford) but he has won the hearts and palates of famous critics, chefs and commoners alike for his cooking- with features in the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles, and Angeleno, to name a few.
He studied at the University of Dijon in Burgundy and when he returned home, he studied at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. Working afterwards with Alice Waters at Chez Panisse and at the renowned restaurants Opus, Campanille, and Eclipse before being named executive chef at the Farm of Beverly Hills. Which is a heart breaker that the location at The Grove is closed now. His current restaurant Ford’s Filling Station debuted in Culver City in early 2006.

Ford keeps his reputation and heart with a take on local, sustainable, “snout to tail” gastropub fare while making mouths swoon in Downtown Culver City and travelers alike. This weekend he’ll be at The Grove in Los Angeles judging the Dole California Cookoff!
